The excitement is building!

And so is „Selection Days“

The excitement is building – and our startups are in their starting blocks for their big day. The “Selection Days” will see them present their new business ideas, seek to convince the judges, and hope to make it to the final round of the SMART TECH TROPHY 2017. Because on Thursday 16 November, the best five startups will battle it out for the trophy in the final pitch.
Competing in the “Selection Days” on Tuesday 14 November will be a total of ten startups from Germany, Bulgaria, Korea, the Netherlands, India and Denmark. They come to the kraftwerk with strong ideas up their sleeve. Who will be there? We’ll be glad to tell you:
ENIT (Germany) wants to offer an industrial IoT (Internet of Things) platform to reduce power costs and improve production processes.
MAKE Bulgaria has developed energy-efficient do-it-yourself building insulation.
Weijland Technologies from the Netherlands is all about inverter technology for photovoltaic modules to enable efficient management and wireless energy transfer.
eMotum (Germany) wants to start up a pedelec hiring system.
BALSOFC (Germany/India) has created a fuel cell which optimises power use in buildings.
FIDES (Germany/Korea) has developed an AC/DC converter which prevents losses in standby mode.
SPARKS Routine gets sporty with a motivational app aiming to motivate people who otherwise wouldn’t to regularly play sport.
Gridhound (Germany) offers Smart Grid management software to monitor and analyse distribution networks.
Scopito (Denmark) wants to enable easy storage, analysis and processing of visual data sets.
And last but not least, M2MGO from Germany offers a cloud-based framework to integrate IoT applications. Which of the startups will convince the jury so persuasively during the “Selection Days” that they go through to the final round of the coveted SMART TECH TROPHY? We can’t wait to find out!
