Last call, aka: Who still wants to contribute their innovative business idea to the SMART TECH TROPHY 2017? Because our application deadline is next Sunday, 13 August 2017.
To date, our competition’s entry list has been quite international, with startups coming from Ireland, Switzerland, Sweden, Israel, Great Britain, the USA, Slovenia, India, Spain, Norway, Bulgaria and Italy. Our idea seems to have been a hit both in Europe and beyond. And we’re very pleased about that! But we do still miss having German startups capable of rethinking the energy concept and focusing on digital business models, industry 4.0 and new waste solutions. Because it’s definitely worth getting involved!
The winning team will pocket the SMART TECH TROPHY 2017, prize money, and a unique driving experience for up to three team members, sponsored by the Mercedes-Benz factory in Bremen. The two runners up each receive two tickets from EWE for a Werder Bremen home game of their choice during the 2017/18 season.
The startup team delivering the best pitch in the final of the SMART TECH TROPHY 2017 will also win a monetary prize sponsored by swb.
As many as twelve startups can bid for a spot at the accelerator.
Each team receives up to 60,000 Euros in financial support, and a work station at our co-working space in the heart of downtown Bremen, while individual workshops and coaching sessions further foster their business ideas. In addition, tutors from our partner companies swb, the Mercedes-Benz factory in Bremen and EWE help develop and prepare every aspect of the startups and their ideas. Because after all, nothing benefits progress more than useful exchanges, discussions, and collective tinkering.
